Only one day to spare? Don't worry — our day safaris range from short 2km taster rides to full day-length Arctic adventures, including 'core' safaris on well-groomed trails available most days, even at short notice.
- From 2km taster rides to 40km day adventures
- 'Core' safaris available most days at short notice
- Shared, solo or guide-driven sleigh options
- Evening aurora versions of shorter routes
Safaris of one day or less
When choosing between our safaris, think first about the optimal length for you: shorter (e.g. under 6km), medium (e.g. 9–12km) or longer (e.g. 20–40km). Then check availability for your preferred dates. We usually have a safari in each bracket available most days, but are unlikely to run a 20km, 30km and 40km on the same day, and some tours are only for advance group bookings.
Aurora and overnight options
If you are in Lapland hunting the northern lights, we run a couple of our shorter daytime routes in the evenings too, subject to availability. Our overnight safaris maximise your chance of seeing the aurora — and perhaps sledding beneath the dancing skies — with some returning to the farm to stay in our traditional kota and others venturing out to remote but cosy wilderness cabins.
