If you just want a taste of running with the dogs but lack the time or money for a longer tour, choose one of our short taster rides. The 2km and 4km tours loop the pretty forested tracks on our own farm (once and twice respectively), while the 6km circular tour heads out into the open wilderness landscape nearby.

About the short tours
At the start of each winter we also offer a 5km tour on a trail that is easy to smoothen even with minimal snow cover, but we stop using it once our standard route network opens. After that, for short-notice bookings the 6km Silent Landscapes tour is your best bet, as we open its tracks more often than our farm tracks during the main season.
If you have booked ahead, your team will generally be ready on the start line when you arrive — that makes the farm tour easier to hear and leaves time for a longer farm visit at the end. Either way, you will have time to cuddle some dogs afterwards, and may even get to put your dogs back in their kennels if they are not running another tour straight after yours.
Taster Ride with Expert Musher / Forest Maze Safari
Our shortest mushing experience runs around the boundary of our land. Some choose to mush themselves; those who are more hesitant can still enjoy the thrill by asking to be driven by an experienced guide. In some conditions we take the more challenging inner loop to give the dogs variety, where you will see how well they respond to voice commands. The loop takes only c. 10 mins (depending on snow and choice of dogs); the rest of the hour is a farm tour and, potentially, harnessing your team and taking them back down.
Duration: 1 hour. Price: Adults €60, Children €40, Solo or guide-driven sleigh €100. Includes an expert guide to drive your sleigh (when available).
Early Season 5km Tracks
At the very start of the season we open a protected c. 5km trail along the edge of our marsh and offer tours on it (and on our 2km) until our standard track network comes into condition. On these early-season tracks we tend to offer this tour only with 2 PAX per sleigh or guide-driven sleighs, and with children in guide sleighs.
Available: As soon as possible (sometimes October, generally November) until the normal trail network opens (usually around the start of December). Programme Duration: 1.5 hours. Price: Adults €95, Children (age 3–12) €70, Solo or guide-driven sleigh €170. Includes a farm visit, driving instructions and c. 5km safari.
Silent Landscapes
Silent Landscapes is the shortest tour that actually heads out into the wilderness away from our farm. If you want a great experience combining amazing landscape and the thrill of mushing without too much cost, this is the product for you.
As our core route, it is the first opened after every snowfall, so we can almost always run it whatever the conditions — we have even taken clients out in an arctic storm for a real adventure, and the dogs still found their way. The whole tour takes about an hour and a half, with c. 30–45 mins on the sleigh itself.
