Bushcraft and Survival Courses

Bushcraft and Survival Courses

Lappish bushcraft and wilderness survival courses in Europe's last great wilderness, designed by one of Finland's foremost survival instructors.

Lapland is the home of Europe's last wilderness. It is a land in which reindeer, brown bear, wolf, lynx, wolverine and elk outnumber people, and one in which dense primeval forests, lakes, swamps and marshes (in summer) and sub-zero temperatures (in winter) pose a challenge to all.

  • Set in Europe's last great wilderness
  • Summer and winter courses with rising difficulty
  • Winter premier course requires a prior course first
  • Designed by Survival Guild Finland member Pasi Ikonen

Lappish Bushcraft & Wilderness Skills School

For those venturing into this landscape, the line between comfortable safety and simply surviving is thin, and our Lappish Bushcraft & Survival courses should not be underestimated. In summer you will be hungry (and contending with mosquitoes); in winter you will be cold — so cold that you must complete a course in another season before attempting the premier winter course, so we can be confident in your ability to survive.

Designed by an expert

Our survival courses are designed by Pasi, one of Finland's foremost survival instructors and an active member of 'Survival Guild Finland'. Whilst we have been running courses for many years, it is only recently that we have started to offer courses in English to an international market.
