The Working Traveller profiles a select four kennels offering trainee husky guide positions, including Hetta Huskies. National Geographic 'Travellers of the Year' Hecktic Travels blogged about their time here, as did Norwegian Sofia Zetterqvist of Fantasy Travel, journalist Cal Flyn, the Frei clients (who sponsor and adopt our dogs), and the Siroccoverland around-the-world travellers. Wikitravel and Wikivoyage list us as one of the two key attractions in the region.

Responsible tourism recognition

We were selected, alongside around 200 companies from over 69 countries, for the World Responsible Tourism Awards 'Longlist' for 2015 (covered by World Travel Market London, TTG Nordic and Travindy.com, which noted a Finnish company among the finalists for the first time). The Coldest Journey, Ran Fiennes' expedition, gave us a sponsorship thank-you for our help and equipment advice, and Anna won a prestigious Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Award for leading an innovative, inclusive crossing of the Greenland Icecap in 2006.
