Mushrooms

During late summer and autumn the area's mushrooms are ready for gathering, in one or several waves depending on how warm and wet the autumn weeks are.

In a normal autumn the abundant species are the variegated bolete (Suillus variegatus), the tall russule (Russula paludosa), the orange birch bolete (Leccinum versipelle) and various milk caps (Lactarius).
