Dogs Being Dogs

Dogs Being Dogs

Candid photos of our huskies off duty, playing, lounging and simply being themselves.

It is a rare visitor who comes on a dog safari and doesn't fall for the dogs. Some come purely for the adventure of the Arctic landscape, but for most it is the relationship with their team that leaves the strongest memory. Here we have gathered photos of our dogs simply being dogs.

  • Behind-the-scenes, off-duty photos of the pack
  • Features our very first dogs, Chocolate and Sausage
  • The farm across both summer and winter

Our very first dogs

The earliest photos feature Chocolate and Sausage, our very first two dogs. Sausage missed the whole of the 2013-14 winter with a limp, and both join the 'house list' when it turns super cold, as they don't carry as much hair as some of the others.

Around the farm

The farm can be beautiful in both summer and frosty winter, as these shots show, with dogs like Suka, Olive and Timon making the most of the 'Hilton' kennels and the play areas, and Eli pictured out at the Valimaa wilderness farm.
