Levi Bike Park
Levi Bike Park sits beside the Gondoli2000 cabin lift on the western side of fell Levitunturi, with freeride and challenging downhill trails. The trails have a maximum vertical drop of 310 metres and huge views over the Lappish lakes. The fastest riders (National and NC level) take around 60 seconds to ride the DH Black track. Freeride runs on Santa's Cabin (for more experienced bikers) and Blue Groove (all skill levels); the Levi Black slalom piste also offers some slopestyle for jumpers, and there is a dedicated junior track next to Gondoli House.
The park is open daily 10am-6pm, June-September (check weather conditions for the cabin lift).
Blue Groove
Blue Groove is a 3.3 km easy freeride track from the upper station of the Gondoli2000 cabin lift. On this blue-category track you can test ground and wooden banks at your own pace. At the tree line it passes the Snow Park and runs on towards the lower stations of lifts 13 and 14, finishing on a flat, solid path with a few small wooden bridge drops. We recommend it to first-timers and as a warm-up for more experienced riders.
Santa's Cabin
Santa's Cabin also starts from the upper Gondoli2000 station but is a more demanding red-category freeride track, around 3 km long, with more speed and ground and wooden drops at various levels. It opens in open fell, then enters pine forest after the "Santa's cabin" filming location. Tight turns with ground and wooden banks carry you into new curves and drops, and the final section meets the World Cup DH Black track, where drops and jumps are deeper, before reaching the lower Gondoli2000 station.
World Cup DH Black
World Cup DH Black is a pure DH track that follows the Gondoli2000 lift line and demands good brakes and ice-cold nerves. The challenge is high speed on a steep profile over mainly solid but rocky ground, scoured by rain and time. Near the bottom, try the 2-3 metre bridge drop with small jumps before the lower lift station. DH Black is 1.5 km long with a height difference of 302 metres. Experts only!
Super Bike Pass & Yllas Bike Park
A Super Bike Pass lets you ride two Lapland bike parks. There are three types — 3-day, 6-day and a joint Season Pass — and you may always use one day to drive between resorts, as lift passes are loaded onto electronic KeyCards.
Yllas Bike Park is on the southern side of fell Yllas, at Sport Resort Yllas. Two downhill trails start from the top and split into several runs down. The Gondola takes you and your bike to the top in seven minutes; the blue run suits beginners and the red one advanced bikers. All downhill kit can be rented from Head Ski Rent, downstairs in the Taiga building next to the Gondola lift.
