There are a variety of open and bookable huts running the length of the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Often the open ones are adjacent to the bookable ones, so you effectively have to choose between carrying a bit extra (for the open ones) or simply carrying a sleeping bag liner and your food and staying in the well-resourced bookable ones. Both are superbly well maintained and make hiking and skiing in the arctic nature a very accessible option for all.
