Sometimes, at the end of a farm visit, those who had intended to just meet the dogs can't resist the temptation to try a short taster ride. These are available year-round using either a quad-bike or a standard dog-sleigh, so long as it isn't too hot for the dogs to run.

What to expect
On a sleigh taster ride, you take no responsibility for your team — a guide drives you, so you can simply enjoy the pure thrill of the ride. On the quad, you sit behind the guide, who will explain how it is used as a training tool in the Autumn season.
If your taster ride is booked before your farm visit, we can have a dog team ready and waiting and continue with the farm visit afterwards. If you only decide on the day that you'd like a short safari, that is no problem — we simply harness a team together with you and drive you around our boundary route in comfort.
Morning or Afternoon Training Sessions
During quad and sleigh training season (before and after the main winter season), we generally train for a couple of hours in the mornings and at least that in the afternoons. So many people book a taster ride and then want to stay longer that we created a half-day training session price: Adults €80, Children €45. Each team runs anything from 4km to 16km depending on its stage in the training programme — a very hands-on experience as you help take dogs back to their kennels and build new teams.
